After the debacle on ENDA during the last Congress, it's important to push for a real Employment Non Discrimination Act this time. People in all 50 states should not have to worry about losing their jobs based on being queer. Care2.com has a petition supporting ENDA. Please sign it.

There is no federal law as of yet that consistently protects LGBT individuals from employment discrimination. As a result, hardworking Americans are denied job opportunities, fired or otherwise discriminated against simply because of their sexuality.
If enacted, ENDA would ban discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in all aspects of the workplace including hiring, termination, promotion, compensation, and most terms and conditions of employment.
