  4. Not surprising.

Any LGBT person who votes for obama in 2012 needs mental help.

  6. Slate.com has interesting piece by Christopher Hitchens about Warren.

  8. Do you think maybe he should nominate people because of their qualifications (although I'm sure there are plenty of qualified LGBT candidates) rather than their orientation? Besides, what would they do at the inauguration while Rick Warren spoke?

  10. Adam: Disappointing puts it mildly as far as I'm concerned.

CJ: If Obama keeps behaving in such a homphobic manner, you are correct.

Jimmy: I pretty much tuned out Hitchens when he started shilling for the Iraq war.

Lew: Most of Obama's cabinet is made up of incompetent retreads from the Clinton administration. Hillary Clinton is completely unqualified to be Secretary of State as is the goofy Republican Obama chose as Secretary of Transportation. There really is no qualifications argument to be made with this cabinet. Obama went out of his way to avoid better qualified queer candidates in order to come up with this roster of pathetic losers.

  14. Obama is off to a dreary start.

From Hillary Clinton, and Robert Gates, to Rick Warren.

My support has gone from high to low in a matter of weeks with an eye already on 2012.

  16. I was never a whole-hearted supporter of Obama. I'm not surprised by his cabinet choices or his lack of interest in GLBT issues. Disappointed, yes. Surprised,no.

I'm not a Clinton fan, either. I mean, there really wasn't much difference between them in the campaign to begin with. They'll get on fine. I don't expect that anything much will change except maybe economic policy. Then again, I never had very high hopes.

    Happy new year, libhom.

  18. This is why I say we cannot give this guy a pass. We can't do what the Goppers have done with Chimpy. Obama must be held accountable.
