The media frenzy on Edwards' affair is bizarre and irrational. Here are more important things that the media might focus on instead.

Our sexually repressed society can be so pathetic sometimes. So many people in the media and their audiences really, really need to get laid.
I should also point out that the corporate media are far more interested in the sexual exploits of Democrats than Republicans.

THANK YOU.
*Any* story is more important than Edwards' affair, but these in particular.
thanks for the cindy sheehan link. she's so brave. i'm glad she's secured enough sigs for the nomination. wish i still lived close enough to sf to get involved in the election there!
I'm a democrat, but I also believe in fairness. If all these Republican sex scandals are going down in a media shit storm, I think it's only fair democrat sex scandals go down the media shit hole as well.
Thanks for filling in for the Elite media.
The the Deeper Attorney Firings Plot is about high-level election rigging and attempts to stack the courts with political operatives. (It's easier to become a federal judge if you have the "credentials" of being a US Attorney.)
The key example of this was Rove's man Timothy Griffin who was briefly installed to replace Bud Cummins in Little Rock, Ark. In addition to being a major Bush operative, involved in the caging letter scandal and Florida recount, Griffin is at the center of Bush's attempt to use an obscure USA PATRIOT Act provision to permanently install him as an interim U.S. attorney without being confirmed by the Senate.
sme and teach people: Hi, please come back.
gdaeman: Thanks for pointing out the thing about US Attorneys and Federal judgeships. I didn't know that. It adds another dimension to the scandal. Also, it points out a bad institutional bias in the courts. Packing the courts with former prosecutors isn't such a good thing.
