The above link is interesting reading.
Aside from the brutality of the shooting, it's disturbing to see people simply taking his photo and putting their hands in his blood. I suppose there's more to it, and who can say how people should react in such a volatile moment--but shouldn't his body be carried away and treated with reverence? It his death only to further their own cause?
