Kucinich On the Killings in Gaza With US Weapons

Posted by libhom Wednesday, January 14, 2009

Kucinich had enough courage and integrity to later be one of only five members of the House to vote against a non-binding resolution supporting Israel's slaughter in Gaza.

  2. Kucinich is one in a million.

He risks angering AIPAC, the Likud party and the military, industrial complex.

    Good for him.

  3. Holy hell I love that little guy. And I adore his Amazon wife as well.

True story: I got to hear him speak live and I got to shake his hand. He's got a grip like a vise.

  5. It is way past time for us to end our arming of Israel. It is just making their belligerence too easy for them.

  6. Only 5. So sad how one-sided the policital bias is when it comes to this topic.

I guess this shows others the power of an effective and well funded lobby.

  8. Good for him. He's one of those rare sane ones.

  10. It'd be great to have more like Kucinich instead of the herd of brain-dead sheep who claim to represent us. Bah!

    Thanks for posting this.

  12. Christopher is right. Kucinich isn't beholden to AIPAC, therefore he can speak the truth. Americans do not reflect Congress' lopsided, blanket support for Israel. Why does AIPAC have so much influence? Certainly not a question main stream media will ask.

  14. Wow--someone with a brain! I've always loved Kucinich. At least someone in Congress is speaking out on this issue.

  16. A lot of comments on this.

The Israeli use of exotic, experimental DIME* weapons is goulish. While not 100% confirmed, a Norwegian doctor reports strange looking mutilations.

    * DIME: Dense Inert Metal Explosives. Developed by the US Air Force in 2006, they release intense power in a relatively confined area without shrapnel. They were developed under the banner of "limiting collateral damage". The physical mutilations result from what is like an intense, localized energy wave that shreds tissue.
