The Alaska state legislature, in a committee dominated by Republicans, has ruled that Ms. Palin violated Alaska's ethics laws. She has left a trail of wrongful terminations and attempts at wrongful terminations.
The vice presidential campaign might be a slightly plausible excuse for postponing the resignation. Now, there is no excuse.
It's time for Palin to resign.
Given that it appears that Alaska just reelected a convicted criminal to the Senate, Palin may be safe.
Is Alaska the new Tammany Hall?

Maybe we should let Alaska leave the union and make Puerto Rico the 50th state. We've got plenty of mountains in the lower 48. We need another Hawaii.
nail the coffin.
She has been totally cleared on all charges. Maybe you should keep more up to date on your facts....
Just hide and watch libbies, When Hussein screws this up I want to hear you howl when I say I told you so.
Well, there is still one charge of which she is completely guilty, and that is of being stupid! She doesn't know which countries make up NAFTA, or that Africa is a continent made up of many countries. Please. Imagine her representing this nation at a G8 summit. She embodies the conservative disgust for reason and intelligence. Is that what you want in a leader?
If she's looking for another job, she could always be a tour guide through the creationist museum.
jimmy: I was thinking that we should clean out all the crooks from Washington and Alaska and deport them to Texas.
russell: I see you have your Official GOP Talking Points together. The person who "cleared" Palin was one of her own appointees. Given Palin's record of wrongful terminations, it isn't surprising that this appointee played ball.
Also, why are you going on about Obama supposedly going to screw up on my blog. If you looked at the link list, you should have been able to figure out that I supported McKinney, not Obama, in the general election. Also, what do the potential merits or demerits of Obama have to do with a posting on the Palin's status as Alaska's governor. You remind me of Palin's interview where she kept repeating talking points, often irrelevant ones, instead of expressing herself.
rich: LOL, you hit that one right out of the rainbow ballpark here at Godless Liberal Homoland.
Alaska's a good place for her. It's about as far away from the nation's capitol as one could get, and is where she belongs.
Have u ever been to Alaska?? I have. Not the brightest bulbs on the Xmas tree up there...
